FAQ
Recognizing that the 21st century is one of change in which leadership has to be rethought to meet the challenges of the new millennium, Bridging-Changes is devising a leadership training that focuses on skills and tools rather than on theory.
1. What is the Bridging-Changes Academy for Leadership in Practice (BC-ALP)?
The BC-ALP is a 10-month learning program aimed at young leaders between 30 and 40 years old that aims to teach them skills and tools needed for leadership. Three different in-person training modules allow them to learn and practice these various tools with guided feedback from a group of highly qualified trainers from Asia and Europe. All three modules focus on leading self, leading others and leading change using an iterative methodology.
Between modules, there will be opportunities offered for coaching and mentoring to the participants as they put into practice what they have learned during the in-person training.
2. Does Bridging-Changes works alone?
The Bridging-Changes Academy for Leadership in Practice is a cooperative endeavour between different organisations and learning institutions such as the Asia Institute for Hospitality Management (AIHM), the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Thinking Ahead on Societal Change Platform (TASC). It is coordinated by Bridging-Changes SàRL, a social enterprise registered in Switzerland, and funded amongst others by the Bridging-Changes Foundation and other private donors.
3. Why should organizations and companies send their people to BC-ALP?
Sending your employee(s) to this training is allowing them to take a critical distance from their everyday life and reflect. The course will enable them to become better versions of themselves with skills that benefit them, their environment, and their workplace
The Bridging-Changes Academy for Leadership in Practice will transform their thinking, which will impact their ability to influence constructively and enhance their management and leadership abilities to benefit the organization and company
In today’s world, training and up-skilling is part of the employee retention strategy. Many forward-thinking employers choose to offer course participation to their key personnel with a requirement to complete the entire course and remain with the organisation until 2-4 years after.

It gives the participants access to coaching, mentoring, masterminding and a wide array of opportunities throughout the year between modules to check in with the faculty in case of questions and challenges while implementing what has been learned.
The Academy also allows the participants to sit back and reflect on themselves, their learning experience and challenges. It explicitly explores leading self, leading others and leading change to enable participants to acquire the foundations for becoming well-rounded leaders in their own right.
